Department of Philosophy

A seminar was held on 12th Nov 2016, under the chairpersonship of Sri Niranjan Dash, H.O.D. of philosophy with uniting Chief Speaker Sri Taranisen Sahoo, from Kishore Nagar Degree College, Kishore Nagar, Chief Guest Sri Bipin Bihari Pradhan, H.O.D of History and Guest of Honor Mr. Siddhartha Ponda, H.O.D. of English of our Janata College, Boinda. The title of the seminar was “Non-Violence". Action and attitude presented by Bikash Sahoo, Ramakanta Sahoo, Anitarani Sahoo and Linu Pradhan of +3 final year arts and ended with vote of thanks by Smt. Sandhyarani Roul.

      Another seminar on "Budhhism" was held on 27th Nov 2016, under the chairpersonship of Sri Niranjan Dash, H.O.D. of philosophy with uniting Sri Bipin Bihari Pradhan, H.O.D of History and Guest of Honor Mr. Siddhartha Panda, H.O.D. of English. During the seminar students interacted with the guests on the concerned topic. Mukesh Mohapatra of +3 1st year arts, Gitarani Chandan of +3 2nd year arts presented their papers, and vote of thanks was proposed by Sri Prakash Kumar Gamanga.
