UGC : University Grants Commission is an independent body formed by the Govt of India to look after the growth and promotion of institutions of higher learning with a multifaceted  activities. Its goal is to bring the benefit of higher education to the doors of all section of the society. The Janata College, Boinda is a 12b and 2f status college which is eligible for all developmental grants of the UGC.

NAAC : National Assessment and Accreditation Council is an autonomous body of the UGC which is under the direct supervision of the Central Government which assures the quality  of teaching and learning process and promotion of a healthy atmosphere in the colleges and the universities of the country. The college is an NAAC accredited college having 12b and 2f status since 31.03.2007(2007-2012).
